Even Low Impact Automobile Collisions Can Cause Major Injuries

Insurance companies have spent a lot of time and money trying to convince the public that victims of low impact car collisions couldn't possibly have serious injuries. How can someone have a real injury, the insurance companies will argue, when their car just has a little dent in the fender.

Of course this is flawed reasoning. People are often badly injured in cases where the damage to their car is quite minor. Several years ago I tried a case in New Hampshire where the damage to my client's car was extremely minimal. However, the jury still gave her one hundred thousand dollars because they understand the case was about the damage done to her lower back, not the damage done to her car.
