At Van Dorn and Curtiss we have always considered it a privilege to represent veterans. My dad served in the Navy during the Korean War and my partner Ed's father was in the Army during WWII.

At Van Dorn and Curtiss we have always considered it a privilege to represent veterans. My dad served in the Navy during the Korean War and my partner Ed's father was in the Army during WWII. Another attorney in the firm Cristina Rousseau is married to a National Guardsman who recently served for a year and a half in Kuwait. For all these reasons I believe we have a special feeling about representing veterans.

Several years ago I was privileged to handle a case for a decorated Vietnam Veteran who had suffered for years from combat related post traumatic stress disorder. Then he was in a serious motor vehicle accident and re-traumatized. The insurance companies struggled hard to avoid paying fair compensation for his serious psychological injuries but eventually we were able to prevail and obtain justice for him. More recently we have the honor of representing a disabled veteran who has been the victim of negligent medical treatment at a local V.A. hospital.
