A Stowe woman is facing DUI charges after driving her car off of Route 100 near Waterbury Fish on Monday.

Allison, Ladd, sustained minor cuts and bruises but refused to submit to a breathalyzer test after officers on the scene suspected she had been drinking and driving prior to the crash. Ladd lost control of her Ford Explorer and drove off the road, 75 feet into a marsh. She was taken to Central Vermont Hospital for evaluation and treatment for cuts on her face.

She was then taken to state police barracks in Middlesex and was cited into Washington County District Court on DUI charges after refusing the breath test.
