Sleeping Driver Crashes Through Harbor City Fence

A driver asleep at the wheel crashed a car through a Harbor City fence on Wednesday night, authorities said. The accident happened around 10:15 p.m. at the intersection of Vermount Avenue and Lomita Boulevard.

The car, which had a Mexican license plate, rolled over after plowing through the fence, according to reporters at the scene. The two boys in the car were taken to the hospital for injuries. The condition of the boys are not immeadiately known.
