Franklin Man Killed in Car Accident

According to Vermont State Police, a Franklin man was killed on Wednesday after being involved in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Vermont 236 and Dewing Road.

The man was traveling east on Dewing Road at 12:39pm on Tuesday when his truck collided with another truck by another Franklin man. He was traveling south on Vermont 236 when he unsuccessfully tried to swerve out of the way when he struck the truck on the driver's side door.

He was transported to Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington where he died Wednesday from his injuries. The accident is still under investigation.
